
The following documents are required to obtain a Canadian work permit visa from India:
A valid identity card (passport) and 2 pictures.
Supply of a foreigner exempt from an impact assessment on the labor market (IMM 5802) and proof of payment by the employer.
A copy of the LMIA / copy of the employer's job offer letter
Evidence that you meet work requirements (as past experience or qualifications)
A Quebec Certification (CAQ) from Immigration, Diversity, and Inclusion (MIDI) if you intend to work in Quebec
Proof of Relationship (such as Marriage Certificate) if accompanied by family members
A statutory Common Union Union statement (IMM 5409) if your common-law partner accompanies you to Canada
All the above documents must be in English or French, and each photocopy of the original documents must be certified by a notary. The VAT will guide you and help you present the application at the Visa Application Center (VAC). Once you complete the document checklist (IMM 5488) and provide biometric information in the respective VAC, you will be issued a unique bar code when you successfully submit the application. If your application is approved, you will receive a cover letter.

Rules to be followed after obtaining a work permit visa from Canada
Most temporary work permits can be extended in Canada while others allow some maximum duration.
If you plan to change employers, you need a new work permit (with the exception of open work permits)
